2nd gen Joying Head Unit Thread

looking into the 9" model are yall upgrading to the 8gb+128gb or is it beneficial too? also, i should ship from US warehouse correct?

 

Hey guys has anyone have a rear speaker not working. I just got this one and only the front speakers are working. I check the equalizer and evrything seams fine. I check the rear speaker harness and i don't see a problem. With my other radio the work. I contacted joying but still haven't received a response. I have a 2012 Tacoma no jbl.

They usually respond within 16 hours or so. Huge time zone difference.

I'm sure you've messed with the balance and fade.

 

Hopefully they will respond, and i did check the balance and fabe in the equalizer setting and the are in the center!! If i put it in the rear theres no sound. Tomorrow i will wire some speaker directly to the pin connector to check if theres sound from those outputs.

 

I just installed that same HU in my 2011 JBL. All speakers where on. Maybe joying incorrectly pin the speaker harness or sent you a JBL harness.

 

Does anyone have pics of the 2TPAM with 9” or 10.1” Joying?

9” looks like it would be fine, 10.1” looks close.

 

I have a TPAM; my 9” arrives next week, so I can do pics with it.
I’m also curious if the 10” would fit… I wanted the volume knob though.

finally installed my joying 10.1 octo core. Love it, however its in German and Im having a hard time navigating the settings . anyone know how to reset the lanuage on the 10.1?

I had same on the 10.1” Joying said it’s preloaded music. I still returned it and got the 11.6”

 

2011 with JBL. Bought the 11.6” with android 12 and got 2 free cameras. Screen is huge, android 12 is fast. Loving it. Comes with Preloaded music from Joying. OEM rear camera displayed on the head unit. Did have to do the RCA wire tap to make it work, it’s true camera quality ain’t great on the huge screen. All speakers work. No problems.

 

Can confirm: my 9" JOYING I bought 18 months ago (and finally installed recently) had an eclectic mix of preloaded music (and stock-footage video) on it. Mostly chinese, but also some stuff in Russian.

Thanks all, the HU is pretty awesome! The music/video I confirmed are preloaded from factory, still doesnt explain the German language but I got it back to English. The brackets fit pretty well, easiest HU swap I've ever done. Huge improvement over the stock HU in terms of sound quality. Defiantly go with the 11.6 if you're trying to decide. My only complaint is I wish it was grey like the stock trim.

 

The only place I can find the Joying 11.6” with Android 12 is on EBay. Does anyone know if it’s available anywhere else?

Then I also grabbed a USB replacement for the 12v plug, but I'm thinking it might be more beneficial to just install it somewhere else. Has anyone added it elsewhere, like maybe inside the glovebox?
