All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    Replace it yo!

I am about to crank up the 2stroke and go for an evening ridge ride. I had to wait until it cooled down, or if I am gonna hit it hard. I need to start early to work into the heat.

As much as I don’t want to I don’t think I’d feel safe riding with it like this. Last thing I need is another flat on the freeway. Just my luck that it would happen so soon after and so close to the previous hole lol.

I guess I did get about 6k miles out of it which is around what I was expecting. But judging by tread there’s still plenty to go :(

Got my new Fly Racing F16 pants, and O'Neal roost guard in. Like both, but i think im a little fat for the 38 pants that I bought. The waist is exactly my size - no adjusting tighter. Going to use these on my ride Saturday, and then probably sell, and order a 40 or 42 :( when my normal pants size is 36.

The roost guard/chest protector seems good, and will fit under my Mosko rain shell.

i believe the torque would be noticeable as well

regardless of both caring the 650 moniker, a single cylinder engine and a v twin engine are vastly different motors

I agree with @Built2Ride on this one. A tire is relatively cheap when compared to the best case scenario for a flat tire, let alone if it's the cause of a spill. Besides, now you can try out a new kind of tire and let us all know what you think!

Also, if it makes you feel any better. I rolled my rc51 right out of the driveway on a brand new pilot power and got a huge nail. Did not even get to take it to the twisties. Put a new tire on and damn it if the same thing didn’t happen.

Atlanta roads are full of shit…I didn’t even want to inspect my tires after each ride, cause the feeling of changing tires started to irritate the shit out of me.

Sucks but we all experience changing tires early.

Don't say this. I don't even have the tools to change a tire, and I'm pretty sure I'd bust myself in the lip first time trying.

What’s the strangest thing you have hit in the road?

I hit what looked to be a 10-12’ ladder on my ‘00 sv650.
Strangely enough I stayed on the bike!

I feel like it's something I was denied as a kid. LOL I enjoy it so much now I really wish I had gotten a bike (the right bike) so much sooner.

As for hitting stuff in the road, never have I ever.

    just….how?? Lol

Only thing I’ve ever hit besides these two recent offenders was a mouse once
