Morning All.
Back from swinging the detector at the beach already.
Not very productive unless you're looking for pull tabs and nipper caps.
Like a sauna already with no wind and plenty of blood-sucking no see ems.

 

So Mrs. SpruceMica has informed me that I will be firing up the chainsaw this morning for storm damage <sigh>

Just totaled a car that was just at Firestone for a bunch of work.

This boulder though it was stopping me. Ha.

 

Lady comes in, said she was just at Firestone and told us to look at the axles and suspension. I test drove it and it was making a ton of noise. Put it in the air and the rear subframe is no longer attached to the body because of rust.

 

Winched it?

 

Come along to a big tree- used a tree strap to avoid damaging the tree. With all of the rain, I didnt want to ruin the lawn by driving on it.

Showed my wife the rock after I got it out- she’s going to use it as a landscape boulder. She goes “I didnt hear you start the tacoma”

 

This came out of our front yard digging the hole to plant a dogwood

All of these are from this gutter drainpipe project, and this isnt even all of them..

 

That makes my back hurt just looking at them

 

This pig was laying flat when I was hand digging Sonotube holes when I built my deck.
Holes had to be 4 ft down so of course this thing was 3.5 ft.
Hole ended up being 6 ft wide and enough to slip a strap around it and haul it out with the truck.

Thought I dug up a primitive coffee table.

 

Thats a biggun. Must have felt like such an accomplishment getting that out.

 

And I was 25 years younger and more "limber".

I know it's early but the thunder and lightning woke me up.

 

but being up early means open up the house & get all the cool air in. Be time to close it up & shut all the curtain soon - cool house like the grands did it.
