Nice rig! If you need warranty repairs be sure you understand the exclusions. Forest River dealers like to say things like "Look at these off-road tires" or similar statements without actually calling the trailer an off-road travel trailer. Gravel roads are considered off-road

Thanks for the heads up. It's going in next week for a couple of minor issues.

Overall, we're very happy with it, except for our lack of time to enjoy it.

Still working on getting it loaded/set up correctly for towing. I need to tweak my hitch so I don't have to put my truck spare tire in the rack on the back of the camper. My Tacoma's payload is VERY limited.

 

Out camping this week. Fortunate to have a State Park 7 minutes from our home. I have had to work this week, but it was nice coming back to this.

 

I've got a state park about 10 minutes from and 10 minutes from work, too. Haven't taken advantage of it during the week yet.

Maybe this fall. Or maybe next week.

It is. We are really having a great time with this little trailer. Already planning our next trip.

My 2023 manual TRD off-road

camper is a 2022 Gulf Stream amerilite 197 bh.

Trailer dry weight is around 3500 lbs and total is just over 5000 lbs. Tongue weight is around 640 lbs when loaded. Makes it a little more than ideal but the weight distribution hitch handles it like a dream.

 

'21 6MT TRD OR with a redarc pro trailer brake. Went from California to South Dakota and back earlier this year.

3400# dry weight.

Looks good. I'm pulling with almost the same setup. 21 TRD OR MT and an 18' keystone bullet. Weighs 3500lbs on a single axle. I have no problem pulling it.

Just got our 2019 OGT Expedition 2.0 hooked up to the tow rig after my 800 mile break in period for the 5.29s and lift.

Not much, this or my kubota BX on a landscape trailer. Taco doesn’t know that boat is back there though. Feather light.

I never seem to remember pictures when it's my own car on my 18' trailer but of course I remember when it's my friend's. I freuently haul drift cars upwards to 2 hours typically twice a month during season. Does it fine with a wdh, medium sumosprings and a redarc liberty brake controller. Trailer is 1800lb dry and loaded (also have a Nissan 240sx of my own) is about 4500 + tools and extra wheels

 

I used to own an old Chevy m1008 Cucv
1 1/4 ton with a 6.2 na diesel, fresh from Hahn Air Force base in Germany

got 21mpg with it on 36” tires and 4:56 gears

I'll be drifting there this weekend at the Staggered Motorsports festival! Lock City is my local but we also do Lebanon Valley Drift in upstate NY (where we were headed in the picture) which is about the same drive (1hr15 to Thompson, 1hr40 to Lebanon)
