Toyota app with manual transmission

I've read people having remote start, location find, alerts for windows down or doors unlocked.

My toyota app shows gas left, miles driven, tire psi, and that oil is at acceptable level. 2023, just started the free trials. Normal for a manual transmission?

From what i recall, the app is pretty worthless with the manual trans. Once I saw what was in there I logged out and haven’t been back in. Only those up and coming, hipster auto trans folks get useful app features.

 

Ridiculous. I can see no autostart but wtf on the other features.

I wouldn't say we get nothin - well, maybe as it relates to the app. Driving it gives us much more.

 

Mine is like that too on my 22. You are fine.

 

Same reason we don’t get auto keyless entry or JBL with a manual…Toyota kinda sucks at this.

 

I noticed that on my '23 MT as well. I was already leaning towards uninstalling the app when I noticed it was constantly running in the background using > 1GB of RAM, but this was the nail in the coffin - nothing of use in the app really. Add to that the constant errors I was getting. Really one of the poorest apps I've ever seen. Couldn't get rid of it fast enough.

Lack of JBL is the only thing I sort of want (I did the kicker upgrades)

 

the jbl system is trash anyways. the pioneer system with upgraded speakers is just as good if not better.

 

Yup its pretty much worthless with the manual trans. The "find" tab never shows where my truck is, and we dont get other features like drive pulse that auto guys get
