The only way to get one wil be to place $1k deposit. Trade in a 2024 Tacoma Pro in Terra, plus pay a $20k ADM

Hope not, because I’m going to talk her into it when her Lincoln is ready to hit the pasture.

I just realized this but it looks like the TRD Pro, Trail Hunter, and Limited trim will be coming with a locking gas lid - and non limited models will have a poverty lid.

Could change if those are the pre production models.

Talking to a lady at my local lot she said don't buy the first year of the new Tacoma . I guess there are so many issues for warranties on thr tundra for the 22s . So I'll be waiting a year it looks like . She does all the warranty paperwork so I believe her . Went there because one of my bed boots are loose , if they don't eat the cost ill be getting a Gladiator

For what reason did Toyota go with a round fuel filler door?

@stevesnj -- I didn't know there was a Land Cruiser thread on here, I'll post them there as well.

@tmac5809 -- That has to do with the Limited, TRD Bro, and Trailhunter being hybrids. Every hybrid has a pressurized fuel system. Doesn't matter brand/manufacturer. Ford Maverick hybrid & F150 hybrid have a "lockable" fuel door as well. I cannot remember all the details but, were the engine turns off a bunch during driving, the pressurized system protects fuel from air & moisture and lack of vacuum. I'll look for a video/article.

Expect a lot off people bitching why their truck doesn't have lockable fuel door and others do, it's coming.

@It's a TRD Thang -- I know the Tundra has had a lot of problems at launch, but that has no bearing on Tacoma. A lot of people say don't buy the first year of production, but we've got 1992 Camry that runs better than I do. The 1987 Camry that had 337K when cylinder No.2 decided to become an aircraft piston. Still ran long enough to get parked out in the back 40. Granted, a lot has changed since then as well.

I'm assuming your current Tacoma has loose bed bolts? Is the bed bottom bowed up as well? I think folks have a problem the weight on the bed rails pushed down and causing the bowing when having a camper shell. Or course maybe someone didn't tighten them to proper spec in the factory, hope all goes well for you.

Also, If Chrysler quality is anything close the same as my parents Grand Voyager, I don't know how I'd trust the interior or exterior. The Pentastar V6 & ZF 8 speed are probably OK though. I haven't been in any Chrysler product since a buddy had a 2009 Charger. better, but not by much.

@batacoma -- Probably cheaper manufacturing costs. I'm no geometry expert, but wouldn't a circle takes less sheet metal area than a square during cutting out? Also, the placement is that a same with all beds, probably another cost saving measure. Ditto the Tundra.

You're an idiot, if I wanted to haul heavy shit I would buy a full-size. I have a 5 foot off road lifted for fishing and exploring. You dont even want a 4th gen. Why are you even here

Bed boots link diagonally underneath to the pajama sleeves. Expensive job to replace both.

You are the one that said you don’t put weight in it. Why even have a pick up? Should have just got a 4Runner and have dry secure storage.
I might get a 4th gen when I need a new truck unless another manufacturer has something better.
Also why didn’t you just tighten up your own bed boot?
