Did it a couple of years ago. It was a good trip. I watched a lady float under a large wasp nest. I kept my mouth shut until she passed it. I was afraid she’d flip out and they’d get her.

 

Any movement or not even tried this yet?

 

@pndwind , I haven’t seen anything posted about working this weekend so far. So you might end up being the only 1.

 

I pulled them off the bike probably a year and a half ago and tore them down except for a couple of jets. It migh be this fall before I get back to messing with them. I’m probably buying some makuni’s and rebuild those just for the excitement.

When I had my cagiva being a Ducati Pantah double carb v-twin had to sync the carbs. When I first got it it was not in the best of shape, learned quickly how to fix it up. Then with the Honda mt 250 really had to tear down carb to clean.
I have quite a few buddies that are mechanics or very knowledgeable.

I need some specs please! Length, width, weight and how well the Tacoma did with it. I’m wanting a car trailer but I’m going to probably put airbags on the truck before I get one.

I really hate to be the guy that tells you bad news but if the rust was more then surface level which by looking at some of the pics you posted they were and they just sprayed over it, it just encapsulated the rust so while it wont spread that one area will still rust out under the spray. We had to cut huge sections of @Nic S frame out and reweld over it with patches to make it ok again.

 

Mine wasn't as bad as it looks in pictures. Oh I know we looked at it very closly and they went in to it and Cleaned it all up and repaired what was needed then got down to bare metal coated then undercoated it. The one hole was the worst one that went all the way thru. Did we do as good a job as others might think could be done, probably not. Mine was not as extensive as the ones you shared just that 1 place.

 

Rode over to Clanton to visit my folks. Averaged 78.9 MPG

 

I wish my Tacoma would just average 60 mpg.
