Does the solar panel use a charge controller?

 

That depends on what you're charging with them. If you are recharging straight to a battery, you'd need a charge controller but if you're recharging a power station of some kind like the one I have for sale from Dakota or another one from Goal Zero, Dometic, Jackery, etc than you don't need a charge controller since they have one built-in. The solar panel comes with MC-4 connectors. The two items I have for sale work together perfectly in tandem.
