Hi. so looking to pick up king 25001-121a-ext for my 2022 tacoma but confused on if I need the ext travel or non ext travel. I currently have the icon AAL. Should I go ahead and buy the ext for the rear or non ext?

Buy the ext, no reason not to. “Extended travel” on mid travel OEM bolt in setups is minimally different.

thanks for the quick response back

would that set up be good for what I currently have? Is the rear shock going to bottom out or something?

If you’re upgrading to decent suspension in the rears you would typically do a u bolt flip kit with an appropriately sized bump stop to smooth bottom outs and have appropriate clearance.

I would also recommend getting them tuned. The folks at Accutune sell a kit with everything you need and include tuning for free or you can just use it as a reference for what you need.

You can grab just a u-bolt flip/bump stop kit to pair with the shocks instead if you'd prefer: https://archivegarage.com/explore-archive/ols/products/stealth-toyota-u-bolt-flip
