That’s a cool campground if that’s the one we visited decades ago.

My brother had a Jeep and he sacrificed his bikini top for us to play in the snow. We tied it to the bumper and we had one of the best times a youngster can have with his bros running the camp’s road. No more bikini top after that!

We were the only ones there and luckily we were there that evening, super cold with fingers freezing…a 2WD truck rolls in with their pop-up and they get stuck. Older couple. (Poor things probably freaked out when they saw 4 “Latinos” walking over. But they were genuinely thankful). We head over and helped them out. They turned around and left afterwards. So we wake up the next morning drenched from condensation in the tent :rofl:Mean first timers!!!

Then of all things, a patrol comes in, sees us, and comes over. He gets off and heads right to me asking for my license. He checks it, gives me a real good look over and then hands it back telling us to be careful as they were looking for someone.

    Arizona be good times roll.

I wonder if because of the material it's constructed of that the tent would or would not get really hot inside?

It is probably warmer (inside) when it's cold out and cooler (inside) when it's hot out....just a guess though

Land Between the Lakes over the weekend. Did a little wheeling, a little swimming, a lot of sweating, and met some locals.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
I'm looking for a drape bug net to go along with the soft topper. What are you using?

I like the simplicity of your rig for summer overnites!

Thanks, it worked great. I actually hate summer camping due to sweat, bugs and people. The net solved one, a fan solved another and we got super far off into the cut to solve the last. :)
Anyway, I'm using a military surplus mosquito bar. I got it here, but it was under $15 when I bought it. If you google around you can maybe find it cheaper. I threw it over the top to maximize space and it works great but there are tabs you could use to hang it from the inside if you wanted. Nice and sturdy.

That’s some serious trail work to clean up that mess.

Back at my local favorite. 20 minutes of highway time from house, and unlimited trail and off trail driving. I've never seen another truck here. Ever... it's pretty much the same geology as Red Rocks or Garden of the God's but It's in wyoming soooo it's just land. I'd hate to get caught back here after a good rain. You would become q permanent fixture. The second water hits this stuff it becomes unbelievable clay/mud

Fantastic set up. Your truck looks amazing. Mind sharing the front bumper make?

Nice! When I lived in Tucson, there was a spot similar, waaay out in the middle of nowhere that didn’t see much people, just a bunch of red sandstone like a massive dorsal fin jutting out of a wash.

Out with the boys for a quick overnight trip. Ended up rescuing a dog that had been sighted the previous day running the fire roads in the mountains, nobody came looking for it the 2 days we were there. We posted some signs that we found him and where we would be. I guess to a vet to see if it has a chip. No tags on him, hopefully he wasn’t ditched.
