Shit that temp is not very Az like :D the project I’m covering is in high 90s to low 100s this week :bananadead: at least I live 10 mins from coast and it’s way cooler.

And for the record leaving Cali sounds better and better… especially since I blew leg/knee out and don’t chase swells anymore.

It's funny how many people think of only desert when they picture AZ, but the top 1/3 of the state is nearly all pine forest and mountains with 4 seasons.

I miss surfing in the San Onofre area while I was in the Marine Corps, but the prices & people in Cali outweigh all the positive aspects. I'd prefer turbo to LS swap because I like the swooshy noises

Anyone have one of the long steering rack bolts sitting around, or know the PN? Mines bent...

Looks like it's 90080-10098 according to Partsouq.

Although the picture makes it look wrong on ToyotaPartsDeal, but it says it'll fit, and multiple parts diagrams online confirm that part #. Don't have a spare one though sorry

Been chasing down a few things. Recently added the LCE header (it's pretty cool), new Denso O2 sensors and new fuel injectors from Motorwest. None of which helped fuel trims or the p0420 code... didn't really think it would.

I'm leaning towards a leak between the cat and the rear o2 but can't tell for sure yet. Any thoughts?

I chased one for a while and it was a vacuum leak.

I am hearing what sounds like a hiss from somewhere near the EGR... will be yanking the throttle body off again soon and probably swap all the hoses there just to see.

Update- didn't want to wait. 5/8" x 8" grade 8 from the hardware store fits perfectly.

Built a new skid to match the new bumper and shorter radiator. Much better clearance.

If you can get someone to hold an oven mitt or some rags on the tail pipe to build a little pressure you will find your exhaust leak real quick.

Changed out fuel filter and wouldn’t you know had a lil drip from front side or outlet side. I checked to make sure threaded right, it was. Tightened down and leaked. Gave the extra effort as hard as could and stopped leak… but it literally only turned an extra 1/1000th o_O

good to go or??? Thoughts lol

I found a 4runner roof rack for $50 and cut it down a few inches to fit the shell. It fits OK, not perfect but works and looks decent. It's my son's truck, he needs it for a surfboard. He will also put a soft type pad over the rear cab, as it's a longboard.

I also put on Bilstein 5100s all around with a 3-leaf helper in the rear to raise it up 2" and put BFG Trail Terrains on. It sits level but looks high in the rear due to the driveway angle.

If it's not leaking it's good. Those flares are hard to get to seal

I can actual play what I did today! I did fuel filter, as noted a few post back. Just finished plugs and wires. Had to be originals as half were NGK/Denso. What a bitch with engine cage for drivers rear!!!!
