The grilles are sold everywhere... Toyota, Amazon, etc. If you can't find, you can go to your local dealer and get one. They may have it in stock.. if not, they can either ship it to you or deliver it to the dealer so they will call you when your order is ready for pick up.

    MC? You mean MC Hammer?

In that case, he might have damaged his amazon store with his hammer which is why you got "something went wrong" error message.

Did a long haul drive today…about 620 miles. Every time I start thinking about going up to a 33” all terrain tire, I have trips like this and remember why I stuck with the more fuel efficient 265’s.

I waited until the tank was almost empty to take this pic, and I actually ended the second tank with almost the exact same mileage. It appears the “form meets function” build style is working:

I’ve confirmed that my speedometer is 100% accurate so that MPG reading should also be fairly accurate.

I also hit this milestone about halfway through the drive:

I’m with you on the MPG. I easily get 23-24MPG on the interstate

I’m glad I’m not losing my mind. With all the posts and complaining I always get the impression that I should be getting 12mpgs on the highway lol

Ha! I haven’t reached 40,000 miles yet. Getting there. Mine is at 38,000.

I usually get between 17 and 22 mpg mostly.

    I just don’t engage anymore

I average 22-25 depending on the drive. Haven’t seen under maybe 21.5mpg since I left the west coast

Yep same here, my lowest averages are like 18.5 for a full tank and that’s the rare occasion when I use a full tank without hitting the highway.

Yeah that would be months away before that happens. Or I could wait after winter season which means I can take it to shop for the bumper in early spring. I looked up the cost for bumper... that the one I want cost more than I thought... So I could save up for that.

Yeah... I wish I have the skills so I can make my own instead of buying one from the vendor.

Yeah the guys who can weld and fabricate stuff are so skilled, it’s pretty impressive what some people have made for their own trucks.

I have a friend who works at the haunt that he knows about weld... he was planning to teach me how but never happens because we ended up being busy during haunt season.

Well it’s been about 5 months since I did anything to the truck and I’m gearing up for another series of trips this fall. The theme of this week?

    :spending:

I learned from my trip to Montana earlier this year that I need to get a WeBoost. I don’t use the word “need” lightly with this build but I think it’s a fair assessment, especially since my wife works from the car on a lot of our trips. I also do alot of solo trips out on trails so it would be nice to be able to keep connectivity for those trips just for safety.

Today I ordered the WeBoost Drive Reach so I’ll get that installed whenever it arrives.

I also have a couple other things in the works for later this week, one of which I am extremely excited about and will share pics once the install is done…

Yeah, weboost helps. A friend of mine has one. I plan to get one for my truck. I have hotspot included in my data plan.

Ugghhhhh. You’re a bad influence lol but no, at least not yet.

I’m still trying to convince myself to stick with 265/75/16’s but I think I’m losing the battle with myself

Nice! Yeah I’m excited to have it for my future trips. I really regretted not having one on the last trip.
