Well just my luck my AC compressor or clutch shit the bed.

Anyone done one and what brand did you go with? I’d like to stick with whoever the oem supplier is/compete compressor/clutch assy.

I assume 471-9196 is the part number right? want to be sure before I order this.

 

I just replaced mine on my 2TR, and I also used a Denso. I thought it already was starting to fail, but the tensioner is failing on my truck .

 

Looks like it will fit based on what little research I did. Where will you be buying it? Can you return it if it's the wrong part?

 

Just bought one from eBay because it’s sold out everywhere else(even Rockauto). ships from Springfield so won’t take long and its free returns up to 30 days. Looks like it’s correct though from what I’ve researched in the last hour.

 

How will you be pulling a vacuum and charging the system?

 

I'm lucky enough to be friends with some ford techs with a shop full of tools lol. Monday I'm going to get it evaced and once the compressor comes in I'll get it installed and recharged.
