Sold my 2022 Tacoma pro back to dealer for 51k 4/21. Reran my Carvana trade in today just for fun and got an offer of 43k. Ouch. In the mean time my 4Runner pro has gone down just 2k with 5k more miles.

Ok. Imagine buying a used trd pro for 60k or whatever the dealer then listed it for

Yup they did 59,900. Then lowered it 1k more than they gave me, I’m assuming the buyer was able to negotiate down so maybe they made something on the back end.

The number they gave me for my 21' offroad with 17k miles was $36k. I didn't think that number was too bad considering I paid 38k for the truck.

Dealers finally have inventory and much shorter wait times.

4th gen will be curious as the 3rd gen tundra took a long time to get on track, whereas the 2007 tundra famously came out swinging and set sales records for Toyota.

If Toyota will ask +20% over the current gen like they did with every single refresh they released lately. It will likely keep the turd gen values pretty steady.

Did you really think the laws of supply and demand would not correct the prices? High demand, low supply equals high price. Normal demand that can be supplied equals normal prices.
High supply, low demand equals low price.

It works that way every single time.

It's interesting, the car fox is saying my 2020 sr5 4x4 has an estimated trade in value of $34,950. That is about 1,000 more than the price I negotiated 3 years ago before taxes and fees. Not bad but I don't expect that to continue as supply and demand is working back to normal again. Vehicles usually don't increase in value it's almost always the other way with few exceptions.

Hilarious, go back and read all the market experts on here claiming MSRP was the new normal in the market. Some of us told you guys over a year ago it was coming , many doubted

Makes as much sense as someone repeatedly bad-mouthing the 3rd gen, and then supposedly buying a new one.

could you imagine not needing a new vehicle but still decided to trade and buy. Some people just want to pay more money for some strange reason

    4 run, 2 don't
When I get rid of a car, it's pretty much forgotten especially a truck.

Can't imagine why I'd want to "rerun" a value on a sold vehicle o_O

Even back in February and March trade in values would change 1-3k checking those sites week to week when I knew mine was close to delivery.
