Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
A failed booster should not effect the stopping of the truck.

Just more force needs applied to the pedal !! I drove home a 1000 miles with a failed booster the vacuum line plugged.

How long have you had this problem?

    Any other problems ?

    Increased engine idle?

have you done The brake booster checks?

Any issues leading up to this ? Having a booster fail over night is strange.

    Things were fine yesterday driving?

Verify that there is vacuum at the hose where it connects to the booster first. Pull the adapter fitting and see if vacuum passes through that. If there is vacuum present the odds are that the booster has failed.

Is there a preference on master cylinder/ booster? Aftermarket acceptable or go full Toyota? My rear brakes are only working intermittently. Sometimes, when you mash the brake really hard, you can feel it “give way?” and then all the brakes work fine. But here recently, the pedal is hard and a little closer to the top. On a recent drive with wet pavement, doing a brake check at about 25mph confirmed only the fronts locking up. Any suggestions?

Same issue with mine, just have to put all your weight into the brake peddle to slowly stop.
I bought my Brake Booster from RockAuto, received in 3 days.
    2 things learned:
New booster did not have a gasket that goes between it and the Master cylinder. And I couldn't find a match on line, so I used good old RTV.

And I noticed on all the YT vids I watched of how to swap out your Brake booster to take off the master completely by taking the brake lines off and taking it out of the engine bay, however, there is a enough play to just remove the nuts off from the master and the 4 nuts from interior brake bracket and wiggle it off. Helped speed up the process because you don't have to bleed the system. :cheers

What exactly does a gasket between the master cylinder and booster do? They are both individually sealed units that bolt together.

We'd have to ask the MFG on that.
