Vacuumed interior, wiped down the dusty dash and dirty floor trim, seat pieces. Scuffs on the plastidip came right off. Also found small wear in some plastidipped interior pieces.

    Washed husky liners.

Rainx'd windows. and lowered my spare tire. (I hadn't done it before and I didn't want the first time to be on the side of the highway) Once I had the spare off I cleaned it up.

Bilstein 5100s (@ 2.5), Toytec 2" AAL, gray wire mod
gray wire mod two days ago. sooo quick and easy. now i feel like i might actually use my diff lock from time to time. stoked. and, just like malander, been debating lift options obsessively.

actually, i wonder if i can get some advice without starting a new thread. i'm about to buy bilstein 5100s. my truck is a stock 99 trd. as long as i'm spending $400 anyway, i'd like to add a little height. i've pretty much been effectively scared away from spacers so i've all but decided to go with billy 5100 adjustable heights set to 2.5" in front with my stock coils and a 2" AAL in back. how will that setup affect how she rides? i'm still struggling to understand the concept of spring preload and exactly what the effects are. please don't tell me to get new coils. i'm well aware that thats the beter way to go but i'm not dropping that loot right now. i can always get coils later and set the shocks back to 0.

P.S. i'm running 31x10.5 BFG ATs. they're still in great shape and i'm going to run them til they're dead, but will i be able to fit 33s later on with this lift and a little trimming? i know i'll need new wheels if i want a wider tire i'm just wondering if they'll fit height-wise.

tom, the billy's are better then a spacer for sure. But the ride will not be like it is now, it will be much more stiff. As far as the tire situation goes, to get 33's to fit your going to have to do some cutting for sure. Imo 31's with good tread look perfectly fine with a 2.5"lift. But if you really want bigger tires go 32" or 265 or something in that nature.

    Hope this helps!

thanks man! yeah unfortunately i did get tickets for my front tint. 3 of them all within about a month and a half of eachother haha. i bought the truck with the tint so i just went as long as i could without taking it off. the taillights were previously tinted also but that faded away over time. also the front lightbar and bumper are off because i am in the process of building a tube bumper. my truck has a tendacy to move back a step before moving forward 2 steps when making another change haha

What did you use to paint your rear fender flares? I'd like to have my fender flares color matched to my lunar mist double cab.
