Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Up until this week, I don't think we've gotten 1" of rain here in total since late May. My lawn has been like concrete with shredded wheat on top.

After last night's rain, the grass is greening up, but the ground is still very hard. Forecast is no rain for the next 9 days again.

Course things change like in 5 min here.
Wasn’t going to trim but if I can cool down again I may give it a go.
If the humidity breaks next week I will be making up for lost time in the boat. Only been like 5 times. I go two or three times a week. Grrrrrrr lol

Weather guru says tomorrow will be cooler and dryer. We'll see. Good enough excuse to wait. I've broken up mowing into several smaller sections, so I can mow as much as I want, stop, resume after lunch, next day, week, whatever. It's like perpetual mowing.. same as before haha. There's normally enough decent weather to keep it looking good. I only mow grass for my own satisfaction. No one ever slows down enough to actually see anything. Instead, they defile the roadside with ding dong wrappers, empty cans, diapers, whatever, at 20 over in a 45. At least they're not casing the place.

Man, it was a very nice 73* when I left the house! 85* by the time I started, and 95* after only an hour and half there. Heat island, and lots of reflected heat. But Caffeine and Chrome at Gateway was everything you could hope for. Other than too many Fox Body Mustangs, everything else was there. I even saw a REAL GRAHAM! Cool as could be. I had to take a lot of multi-pics, and didn't come close. Probably 300-400 cars in the hot lot. I'll go again. Here we go outside! I do kinda wish so many hood weren't up. Yes, I ventured into the sales building.....up next.

Caffeine and Chrome at Gateway Motors - Inside. Now, they have a good reason to sponsor a show like this, and I wasn't going to go inside except for...
    1. air conditioning
    2. air conditioning
    3. Lemonade, and all gone donuts
    4. air conditioning
    5. lots of cool cars and trucks.
    6. air conditioning
    7. free posters and stickers for the garage and tool boxes
    8-10. air conditioning!

Honest, hat's off to Gateway for sponsoring, and surely it drives some business, as the showroom office staff was busy! Everything for sale inside, except the red Cobra! Thankfully, JUST out of my budget. Let's go get cool!

Not sure of the heat index but it was toasty.
    My thermometer was 100°
    Storms came through last night.

    Heat broke. Ye haaaaaa
    58° right now.
Much easier to breath at the moment…

I know there are pet friendly weed killers out there, but I just cannot remember what they are. If you like I can check with my company.

I am in the same camp Carl. Two of the appointments were therapy and I am finished with the therapy, but it does add another 45 minutes on to my gym time for stretching.

Good Sunday morning everyone. Yesterday was hot and the music was moved inside where the space was air conditioned. The bad thing is my wife and son joined the vineyard wine club. I see a lot more visits in my future.

@Oldie2007 Thank you for the pics. I enjoyed them all, but the GTO pics were really nice. I always wanted a 66 GTO. Today is off to Pirates Cove for music and a lunch. The music today is a steel drum band. Going to be fun.

I missed the local car show yesterday. By the time I could get there it was already over 100, and too hot for me.

    Thanks!
That green looks good on that one.
That motor looks like it could get out of it's own way.

Planning to get mine painted this Fall/Winter if the stars and planets line up.
I want to go back to the original Red with black stripes and roof.
The old paint has been on for about 40 years, held up pretty good, but is showing it's age in places.

Here's how she looked like in the late 70's...
