    It’s the one I would have wanted and she is tickled to death with it. IMG_0912.jpg
    And I won’t have to do anything to it other than she already said she wants the step bars pulled off.

    Happy Sunday, everyone. We got a break in the weather, only going to be in the mid 80's today w/ less humidity. I'm going outside in a minute to get some work done on the deck. I need more weekends to myself to get things done, I'm falling way too behind on projects.

    @ Andy- did you ever figure out why the cat was staring at you?

    Well, that was interesting…. Went out after lunch to go take care of a couple things, and the Taco would not start. Had to replace the battery. No inkling that it was dying before hand, just wouldn’t start all of a sudden. I was able to charge it for a little bit and get it going, went right to the store, got a new one put it right in in the parking lot.
    Not what I have planned for this afternoon.

    My original factory battery did me like that. It worked fine in the morning, but when it came time to go home I had to get a jump. That was like 3 months over the three years the battery was supposed to last.

    What got me was I knew it was an old OE battery, but the suddenness of how it died. Glad I was at home and not off somewhere remote.

    well sleep hates me..... so i go to bed late & get up early. lifetime of early work hours & then kids, sports & chores.

    that made this morning weird. 8:45am before a dog woke me up needing to go out. highly unusual & i was totally out of sync.

    got everybody fed, played with & settled, wife was still snoring. grabbed my headset & my phone, fired up the spotify play list & got my mow on.
    did about 5 acres & it was getting pretty intense sun at that point. knew i was already burning my farmers tan in, so stopped there, cleaned up the mower, blew off the walks & driveways. took a break for lunch, grabbed a shower & headed to Rural King because im there as much as most people are WalMart.

    finally made it back home because of course they are prepping for fair week & the fairgrounds are about 2 miles from my home with no way around it. everybody loading in their animals & parking campers. total f'n madhouse. traffic backed up & cops all over the place.

    now its time to help the wife with dog baths & kitty boxes. it never ends. living the dream.

    I hadn't noticed ... or
    :anonymous::fistbump:

    We are, hope you too. :)

    The sensitive electronics in newer vehicles does that. Old school we'd notice slower cranking etc ... my understanding now is the volts drop to a a certain level and the ECU (or sumtin) just "says" NO. That's my layman's understanding.

    @Tacoma Mike , please will you confirm and/or debunk?

    Well, no codes, but with a new battery, I had to clean the truck and vacuum the inside … of course.
