Cool idea, but will that board be big enough for two hundred people to sign it?

I am an engineer. I did a test! I wrote 10 signatures, got the inches squared, and calculated 156 in sq. I am giving them 200. Let's see what happens. Here is my test...20230724_211707.jpg

@POOLGUY I notice you like a lot of things but seldom opine. What do you think? It's important to me because I have a couple hundred people who will form an opinion that I don't even know lol.

    Ain't that the truth...

In factories workers will continue to do things "the hard way" even after you improve the process. o_O

Ask them why - "well, I always do it this way"...

Sometimes, you can only do so much. I go back to my original quote "I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you."

For over 10 years a sign similar to below hung on the brick wall next to my desk.
I left it there when I retired.

From what I heard my replacement needed it -- more than me maybe.:rofl:

I admire the things people create and make, because I know how much sweat, tears and sometimes blood goes in to these creations. When someone puts their heart and soul into a creation, to me it’s great to see, because so many things are taken fir granted.

I worked for a company years ago, where I needed to calculate and create a way for equipment to fit and work correctly. Was not appreciated by my employers, so liking what somebody creates is my way of showing appreciation.

Thank you. I appreciate your opinion and comments. I do a day job that I seldom talk about here. I talk about the passion I do after work hours. Thank you!

Yeah okay. I would definitely brief the first several people to sign, on how to sign the board; so everyone else will see how it should be done. Hopefully, you don't end up with some Johnny Come lately signing in 3" high letters.

2.5" lift, all new chinese light plastics, led lights here and there... want to make a daily "overlander" modeled after "overland under budget"..
Hipsi, I dig the signature plaque! Very cool. I dabble in a bit of carpentry.
Well, finished up the rear bearings and moved on to rear springs, shocks and front shocks. For the saggy rear springs I found these "repair" leaves. Basically you pull your pack apart and slip these in there for a lil rearching...it worked! But a little too well. Gave me about 3" of lift! So...I got to the front and wound up putting the bilstiens on the top notch...I just wanted new shocks and wound up with about a 3" lift....lol

20230730_211348.jpg 20230729_160810.jpgIm trying to show back to front comparison in the second pic. Har to tell but its about a 3" difference. I took it for a spin down the hwy and it drove most excellent! Needs an alignment asap though to correct the camber..

I would imagine that there are a lot of people that have a regular job that is stressful or just for paying the bills. But, they have a talent that they enjoy doing and sharing with others.

    Good Morning everyone :hattip:

The temps and humidity broke yesterday, I forgot how enjoyable summer can be with it in the 60s and non existent humidity (and a bit of bug spray).

I forgot too how much crap builds up in the cabin air filter…
