    Evening gentlemen -

    Sorry for being high maintenance....

Attached please find a pic of a spot that seems colorless under the engine.
    It is dry.
Yesterday, noticed some dripping after a very short drive but it appeared to be AC condensation and left no stain on drive.

This spot was noticed late today but the truck was not driven.

Have a 1000 mile return trip Thur am and in a town where I will need to locate mechanic.

Any guidance on what they should check is appreciated.

AC is working fine and there was not overheating noticed.

Trying to avoid breaking down on the way home.

    Thank you!

Have you open the hood and looked?
    Crawled under?

We kind of need “more” information.

Any odor, greasy feel to the spot? How is the power steering level?

V6? Power (trans fluid) steering fluid or transmission fluid from cooler?

V4, 2.7 - I'll check the fluid level first light. Steering is smooth when I just tested it. Thank you - it was found to be low a few months ago and topped off...

Still there but no smell or noticeable color. I took a white paper towel out to dab and it was dry.

Are you sure the leak is from your truck or possibly from some other vehicle parked in the same spot?

What do the rack and pinon boots look like? Are they wet looking rubber?

Ok. I will claim to be no expert. Just question about everything though. Especially when it comes to machines. Typically an easy fix... fluid is on the ground. Have you popped the hood, crawled under it/her and wipe everything down? Then the leak may reveal itself.

Check coolant level in radiator and reservoir. Check for holes/cracks in the tubing between radiator and reservoir. Unless I'm misunderstanding it sounds like this liquid is acting more like water than oil right? I.e. drying up?

I had a pinhole leak somewhere in the end of a radiator once that I dismissed as ac condensation until it became too much volume to be that and started checking things. Ran it for awhile until it got up to temp to finally start dripping.

Looks like it came out of the washer fluid tank. Did you maybe top that off? I wouldn’t worry too much. Just look at your fluids whenever you stop to pee!

Isn't there a PS fluid cooler that looks to be on the passenger side. There is a lot of fittings under there.

Thank you not that, lid was secure and appears to be a reddish color, not blue - I think something to do with radiator.

PS fluid is full, appears to be reddish and radiator related. Splashing is red.Without yesterday's afternoon sun, source seems to be at bottom of radiator on the passenger side. Is there an overflow valve? (what appears to be overflow tank is on the driver's side and overflow tank not showing full). But when I take the radiator cap off, it is full of fluid in the radiator itself.

I think it's radiator related. The fluid is reddish and the source appears to be on the passenger side of the radiator at the bottom but there is some splashing on both sides. Radiator overflow tank is on the opposite side and not showing Full but has fluid. When I remove the radiator cap (completely cold after 36+ hours, it is full to the cap)

If it is coolant it usually leaves a trail of white and red dried residue behind tracing back to wherever it originates from.
