just purchased a 2003 2.7 manuel extended cab abs light is on
when I brake pedal goes all the way down it slows down and starts pulling to the right I also feel a strange kind off slightly jumping
I noticed a cut wire right off a connector near the driver head light and battery witch seems like it’s connected to the same wires that the driver side abs is connected to
wondering if that can be the problem
    here’s some images
is that wire for the abs system

OK I’m going to re-post them. Actually there’s another thread I believe I made a mistake and started to threads but I will post them on here also. Please let me know what you think if you’re able to see them. Thank you.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
That picture is not a stock connector looks like something was spliced to the parking lights .

Then removed before you bought the truck .

Nothing to do with your brake problem.

Did you bring this to the attention of the seller before buying?

Going to be frank, I'd VERY closely inspect the frame before sinking one dime into that truck.

If you're braking and the truck pulls to the right, then you likely have a problem with you're left front brake. But get your entire brake system checked out immediately. The system is completely hydraulic and will not depend on your ABS. For the ABS light, this could be caused by a number of things like wheel speed sensors, ABS ecu, ABS unit, etc... And as someone mentioned, that connectors is an aftermarket splice. Remove it, and tape up that wire.

That truck needs some serious work!!

A few Good bumps the battery will be hanging by the cables or hitting the road.

Brakes and alignment are the least of your worries.

From what he's describing it sounds like the abs is activating and he's feeling the pedal sink along with the abs pump vibration.

It likely has ABS fault codes stored, it need to be scanned and proceed with trouble shooting

A cracked tone ring is common for causing weird abs activation at low speeds

Thank you guys. I will keep you guys posted. I’ve been super busy so haven’t had the time to work on them. Just been driving extra safe. Yes I know the truck has had it, but it’s all I have at the moment. Thank again!

The ring on the axle the sensor uses to tell if the axle is moving the same as all the others.
