I cannot believe that I just found out about this! In 2000, my parents bought a brand new GMC Safari conversion van with a TV and VHS player in the back, and they bought me a metric shit-ton of VHS tapes before we moved across the country from Virginia Beach to Oak Harbor, Washington. One of those movies was Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, and I can't tell you how many times I watched it on the cross-country drive!

If we're talking about how he got arrested in Florida for in an adult movie theater, that was in like 1990 or 1991...

And yes, he's a borderline pervert. The same could be said about the late Michael Jackson; I still listen to MJ, and I still find Pee-Wee Herman to be funny. The late Phil Spector was a nutjob who ultimately ended up in prison for shooting his girlfriend; I still love the music produced by Phil Spector (my dad got me into it).

I do not see eye to eye with many celebrities on things that can't be discussed on TW per the CoC, but I still watch their movies and crank their music in my truck!
