What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

It is a great way to watch a movie. Out in the fresh air laying in the bed of the truck looking at all the stars in the sky and on screen. The funny thing is, I never really got to see the whole movie while at the drive in with the wife before I had kids, and I still don’t now that I have kids. I wonder if I’ll ever get to actually see a whole movie from beginning to end some day.

 

The repairs where done in 2weeks after waiting about ten days to get it in.

 

Are you in Richmond, VA? If so, what body shop are you going to use?

Yes, I'm located in Richmond. Loyalty Collision Center is doing the work. They are a Toyota certified repair shop.

I wish Toyota would "finish" the leather package. But for $40 and 30 minutes, I'm happy with the result. So much softer on the elbow.

 

Where did you get the hardware from? I’m looking for something similar for the bed rails to mount my rack.

I noticed a dent today…The first time I park close to the door of the grocery store instead of the other side of the lot (it was during a storm and the girlfriend didn’t want to get too wet)

Nice, and here I am getting daisy chain relay/harness kit from Cali Raised lol. Now I need their relay mounting bracket to hold the 3 relays.

Nice, I had a 21 ORP myself in Silver. Great vehicle besides the brakes leaving a bit to be desired. I can't bitch too much, she saved me in a snow storm I got caught in passing through the Salt Lake City area. Was a return trip from Idaho back to Texas. Storm hit just north of Ogden, and by the time I was south of SL, I was the only vehicle pushing south. Most cars were pulling over, however I did see a Subaru following via my tracks for a bit. Then the snow was too deep and the Subaru pulled over. I stopped at Devils Pass for a break and stretch my legs and took a picture or two. 4Runners are awesome, I lost mine due to divorce.

Not much over the weekend other than my military veteran plates came in, so I put those on. Decided my rock lights install needed a few more bits to make everything work, so ordered a dual leg daisy chain harness from Cali raised, and a 3 relay bracket from them as well to help clean all the wiring up. Not sure how long that setup will last as I later plan to add a rear light bar rack but will be installing KC lights instead of the typical light bar. After that, no more lights.. I think.

 

I can not speak to the Kicker but I read some good reviews about the DS18 and got them. They were plug and play and very crisp and clean. Very good upgrade.
