I would not change a thing!
Not quite sure how a Yenko ended up with a "modern" propulsion system!

I prefer original colors on almost anything. And black is so... everywhere.

Good morning. Prepped the pork shoulder last night and on the smoker at 6am today. Going to be a good dinner tonight. This should be a relaxing week with a 4 day stay at the beach starting on Thursday.

Easy day yesterday, hot weather broke. Air quality better recently. Maybe there's hope! Usually don't think much about it, but it does matter. We all live on a small slice of sustainable space.
Wife's car A/C acting up, not as cold as it should be. Don't remember how old the cabin air filter is, so I'll try that first, because it's easy. Can't tell by looking at it, it's black waffle weave something, won't blow out with compressed air. Hmmm.. seems to be colder when running now, but it's in the garage and no filter is installed. Maybe I'm onto something. Ordered one. Now we wait. Does freon dissipate over time? Yes. pretty sure that's all it is. Meanwhile, took advantage of cooler temps, finished up a few things outside, moles bad this season, deployed a few "mole chasers". They work, but there's always another one. Generator cycled at noon. Reassuring. Installing one is the best thing we've done in a while.

    So was dinner caught? :)

    Good morning.

Yesterday's cook was a big success. I was able to smoke the pork shoulder, add a high spice binder and rub but still separate a portion of the non-spicy pork for the wife and son. I experimented with a different brand of pellets too. It20230731_091142.jpg 20230731_165805.jpg 20230731_170115.jpg 20230731_171332.jpg was a fun cook for me, I learned a lot.

Today will be the gym, a BL's club run and guitar practice. A not busy day.

    Fall is slowly creeping up.
Got my Deer Permit in the mail yesterday for the archery only areas of the nearby watershed I hunt.
I can go in and scout/set up my stands starting the 12th.
