You should put in a "Round Tuit" in there also.

My wife got me one of those shirts. Nothing to do with the variety of house projects we have in progress at any given time.

Dude Dad is pretty funny. He had a show on one of the fix it channels where he would help dad's build outdoor projects for their kids. I don't know if it went more than one season.

Ok, small rant on "Philips or cross head" screws. So Im at Lowes today, the worker was helping an old lady and finds what shes looking for...some philips deck screws.

I really have gotten away from cross or phillips screws. While its what she was looking for, its not what she needs.

So i talked to the lady saying phillips screws are basically worthless. I got her to change her mind, even though it would be her brother doing the work. So hopefully he uses those.

Ridiculous the worker would be ok with Phillips/cross screws but cant expect too much i guess.

LoweDepot employees don’t give a poop nor do they even know - if and big IF you could find one in the hardware aisle!

Yeah that's old school. I like the newer torx heads better.

Torx head screws used to be more expensive than Phillips. Now the bulk-package torx with the re-usable durable bodies are only a smidge more expensive than Phillips zinc, and I am not even sure I can measure that "smidge".

I really HATE zinc screws ...

    Leveling kit, roll bar
Philips and flat head screws both. I'm sure these are not top shelf quality but they have been good enough for me for smaller projects.

Other than coming across an old slotted screw, the only use from my straight blade drivers are plate covers for outlets and switch plates!

On the woodworking world I did need a LARGE flat blade to hold my Makita router shaft while tightening the collet chuck base. That was interesting! It came loose while routing a groove. Yikes. Not sure what other routers use.

All of my routers have either used a manual lock button or two wrenches. The shaft accepted a wrench and the of course the locking nut.
