I’m not too sure. I took off the mustache this morning but left the steps for now. Going to see if my wife likes them.

Last time I had to buy .120x1.75 DOM it was $9 a foot, up from $5 pre covid. :bananadead:

Also no, only because I don’t want sliders. They’re only good for protection and don’t make very good steps.

Yeah. I went with running boards kind of similar to sliders in shape and they are ok. I do use them to get in the truck, but they are not the easiest. For just me it’s ok, but for older people or even kids they would probably have to come off.

Thanks! Not yet, I’ll snag some later. Interior is just as clean and immaculate. The only thing I found was this trim piece missing. Didn’t notice on the test drive, or even on the drive home. Not a big deal, I’ll get a new one.

Almost $12 last time I bought it. Compared to about $5 when I did my cage a few years ago. Shits crazy. A good handful of projects the last 2 years I’ve just had the customers provide me with materials.

Added a startx remote start and after contacting them, any compustar long range remote add on is compatible. $300 all said and done and now have remote start with 2 way confirmation and half mile range. It’s all plug and play, can’t recommend it enough.

Looks like it may have had one of those aftermarket ram mount things and PO sold it separate without replacing the piece.

That was my guess. Apparently you can’t buy that piece on its own from Toyota, it’s part of the headunit which is thousands of dollars. Even aftermarket radios have you reuse it. For now I’ll just leave it be because it’s not even a little bit noticeable.

Maybe you could get one 3D printed? If you ever wanted to fill the area.

Got the 4R tinted today, gave it the works with some premium ceramic film, Suntek CIR. Had them remove the current tint in the front two windows, 15% all around and 50% windshield with a 5% eyebrow. We have 70% on the windshield on the van and a few folks say 50% is perfect for windshields here. I’m a believer now. Just dark enough to reduce the crazy glare here. $900 for everything.

I should also add I used to be super against windshield tint based on principle alone but had never actually experienced it. After experiencing the heat blocking of ceramic, I was a little more open minded and thought I would try it on the tundra. It’s incredible the difference it makes.

Does it still not work with polarized lenses in sunglasses though?

No issues at all with polarized sunglasses. No rainbow effect.

Here’s a decent comparison shot in my well lit garage. 15% door, 50% windshield, 5% brow.
