Nice clock, had an Aunt that had one. My family wouldnt let me have it when she passed. One of the older cousins got it, fucking bitch.

Oh no...do we need a clock thread? I have an 1852-1853 Seth Thomas mantle clock that still works fine. It was passed down to me from the original owner, my great, great-grandfather. He bought it new along with other "essential household items" before packing up and moving his family to Ohio in 1855 to establish a farm. It's a somewhat rare 4-column, 36-hour model, with the original hand-painted artwork still intact on the glass. It's fussy, and the clock face is showing its age, but it's all original and keeps time within a fraction of a minute per day when adjusted properly. It becomes inaccurate whenever the weather changes, so we just keep it close and call it good.

Very bad and sad situation here.

 

I didnt think much of them with how they have come down to FL in droves and are just assholes and left lane camping asshats, my opinion of NY'ers hasn't gotten any better after reading this.
Not ALL NY'ers mind you, but the ones I have run into are.

A skinny adolescent cat missing part of his ear was looking through our patio door on a cold December night about 10 years ago. He ate some pulled pork and used an old baking pan filled with case tumbling walnut shells for a litter box. He has been with us ever since. He’s currently living in Milwaukee with my daughter. What a great guy!

 

Our usual evening spot. Within 3 minutes of sitting down on the sofa, Munch is instantly by my side. 100% lap cat.

 

Here’s asshole. aka Marty. Totally my daughters cat. He adores her and only tolerates the rest of us. She’s headed off to college at the end of this month. He’s going to be beside himself when she leaves.
