Look at the bed alignment and body gaps on any 3rd gen tacoma. It's like a blind guy assembled the truck lol.

Currently, the 4Runner build quality is better than Tacoma. That will end soon enough, though.

Look harder. Look at other tacomas on the road. I see fucked up bed gaps all the time. I got lucky with my 23 and its decent but still off a bit.

Tons of threads on the topic.

it might be boring or sluggish and slow but it’s still built better than the Tacoma. Ferrari and Lamborghini are fast but unreliable as fuck two completely separate things. No one ever said these are fun cars one is a light duty pickup to haul your fertilizer from Home Depot and your friends sofa when they move the other is to haul your mountain bikes to Utah and Colorado both let you camp in the middle of nowhere which is fun to me more fun than a Ferrari or lambo

When i first bought my 2017 tacoma I noticed the bed was super crooked. I took it back to Toyota and had them realign it.

Plus, the interior of the 4 runner does scratch by just looking at it like the tacoma does.

    Initially I wanted 285s but didn't want to drive a slug so these are C rated K02s in 265 70 17

No it shouldn’t, i also had the rear leaking diff issue as well. The 4runner is the gold standard of quality for Toyota. The 3rd gen Tacoma was something else. The biggest reason I love my Tacoma is the 2.7 under the hood to be honest.

the OP thinks his Tacoma is some super superior vehicle and will argue everyone to death about it.

I just bought a 3rd gen last month, spent a lot of money on it but I'm honest with myself about its drawbacks. It's loud, rides like a 30 year old truck, motor sounds like it's going to blow up and the trans is very confused and still has drum brakes lol.

IMO is still the lesser of all evils when it comes to new mid size trucks

OP thinks that the 4R is not superior to the Tacoma in any meaningful way. So please don’t put words into my mouth.

Countless posts here keep praising the 4R and how superior it is to the Tacoma. I have found that not to be the case. Especially considering
    The extra money outlay.

The 3.5 is essentially nearly the same motor as the 4.0 other than 10% better FE and dual fuel injection. I’m not worried about “reliability” in an ancient Toyota v6

You’re either a troll or clearly delusional, what you think and what are facts are two different things I think I’m handsome with a huge pecker but 99 percent of the female population would say the opposite

Take the Pro equation out of it and they are similar in price when comparing options.

You obsession with the 3rd gen Tacoma and trying to prove its worth in thread after thread is weird man.

The TRD pro in either vehicle is a waste of money.
