I got lucky with this one. Brand new they told me 11 something out the door. At the time, gasgas/ktm/husky was running a promo where if you buy a new bike, you get $1500 credit towards other gear. I got them to put the promo towards the purchase price so the bike was about $9400 OTD. Just bought it earlier this year.

I dunno the one I pulled might have been like 35-40. Thanks @MR E30 for helping Will today. Let me spend some time at my third job as suspension guy for the race team. Their test drive seems like I made a good step in the right direction. Mmmmaybe make one change but they need to get more seat time and I need to get my truck out with them to see what it’s actually doing.

Man, I installed a remote start on the 4Runner this evening. If anyone is in the market, StartX on Amazon is the way to go. Cost me $200, all plug and play and took me 28 minutes to install start to finish.

You can apparently also add a long range remote from compustar so I’ve got one on the way for another $80 to up my range to half a mile. Or a cellular module to start from your phone.

It was a *****, but it is always fun to spend a day with a friend, cursing and bleeding to get a job done.

The fab work is top notch.

Stacy, Will and I hoisted the bed back on as well.

View from the driveway isn't too bad either.

Back on the tint discussion, I'm going to give Omar a shot for this 4runner. He uses the same Suntek CIR film as Aladdin's but the price is very fair. I'm going to get tint removed from the front two windows, all the windows done including windshield, and an eyebrow on the windshield too and it's sub $900. I overheard Aladdin's telling another customer that just getting the windows done would be $700 so I have to assume my same work would be over a grand there. Dropping it off this evening and picking it up tomorrow evening.

Omar does great work and stripping my truck and tinting all the windows minus the windshield was much less than 900.

I don’t know what to tell you, maybe wherever you went used a different film, maybe it was before everything got expensive, who knows. It’s about the going rate though for suntek CIR film though. Aladdin’s was $330 for the windshield alone in suntek CIR.

edit: and part of it may be the number of windows. Including the windshield, the 4Runner has 10 windows. Back doors are split into two windows and then that little window behind the rear door.

Aight, time to finally get my AZ CCW. (want to finally bypass NICS).

I believe you can apply for one if you had a CCW from out of state, just need to fill out the packet and send in prints. My out of state CCW is now expired, does anyone know if they'll accept that?

Worst case scenario, who is the cheapest in the valley? Preferably North Phoenix/Scottsdale.

Guessing they won't accept expired CCW. I took the class at Bear Arms in Scottsdale on Scottsdale and Shea kinda by Ernies. Was quick and reasonable cost like $50 and included fingerprinting. After that just had to send my app and payment to the state and wait.

Will say it is super nice not having to wait on background check anymore esp mine were always slow. Now I can just pop in pick up my item and be gone quick

50 bucks ain't bad if it includes prints. I'll try giving DPS a call and see if the expired permit works. Ty

Was the class time required for ccw and prints they give you the certificate of completion and your fingerprint cards right after the class. Instructor wasn't super boring and it made the class go by faster. Plus you get to look at guns in the shop during break lolol
