Hello wise and wonderful TacomaWorld! Can you help?

Here is the situation, I've had my favorite vehicle, this 99 2wd Tacoma for awhile and it's great. Recently one of our cars got totaled, and I decided to make this my daily driver. However! I'm a 6'4" tall lurpy guy and this truck is about as tall as a curb. I get lots of strange looks as nobody expects me to be in that little thing, I mean its fun and all... but could it be better?

Now, I don't really want to do anything crazy, and nothing that requires custom work. I have basic mechanical skills. But if I could lift it up maybe a few inches, and then get rims and tires that lifted it up a bit more. Maybe it would look cooler, and I would feel cooler... and isn't that why we are all here in TW!;) Current status, I'm pretty sure its all stock. Those are just cool hubcaps. Tire size is currently P215/70R14 96T

I'm looking for cheap and easy solutions to get this truck taller, that don't require custom work, and maintain the reliability that we love about Tacomas. Thank you!

Welcome to TW - Looks like a solid truck ya got there.

    I haven't lifted a 5-lug Taco, so I'm no help there.

Maybe peruse the 5-lug forum and see what you can find there.

Looks like this thread may be helpful : https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...erd-suspension-guide-and-general-info.545351/

Just FYI if you don't already know, best way to search TW is to go on google and type your question and add tacomaworld at the end.

If you use the search function in TW, make sure to use the "google search". The others are hard to navigate.
