I reckon I am blessed that I can let my dog roam free without worrying about her running away or destroying anything.

Not sure if y’all remember but the raised planter beds I put in last year and filled with decomposed horse stall clean out. Are paying off. We have an onion my family has grown for generations we call them nest onions some of you may know them as multiplying onions. In this tough old red clay dirt they would get a little bigger than your thumb. Here are some of the sets I broke apart to plant. IMG_0975.jpgIMG_0974.jpgIMG_0973.jpg
And this is what we grew this year in the non compacted horse poop rich soil in the beds. IMG_0970.jpgIMG_0971.jpg IMG_0972.jpg

It's about 1/2 way planked. I need to get new 2x12 stringers and cut them for the stairs, I can't use the ones that I made last year when I thought that I could get away with just new deck planks. Everything changed when I had to completely rebuild.

I face the bows outwards, then use this setup to walk the planks back into alignment. This seems to work pretty well.

Rugby gets bigger each week when I see him. He has mastered climbing to the top of the cat tree, he is still working on his descent technique

    Yes you are!

my Bullydogs dont run away..... They stay close to the house. but her hounds? man they catch a scent or movement & they are gone into the woods & being surrounded by farms & heavy woods. They might not make it back. OR they come back right after she gets a replacement. ugh. that has happened before. dog was gone 3 months & she got another one. YEP wasnt a week later original dog was on the porch too.

That problem took care of itself in a way. he ran off again & got hit by something. YES that bothers me, because people should always be responsible for their animals. Key there: it was her animal. still frosts my sack though.

example: right now sitting on this couch typing, my 2 bullydogs are laying right up against me snoring away. Minding their business, being happy sacks of potatoes.

her hounds are chasing her cats all over the place, while shes already fast asleep for the night.

we operate on very different animal rearing principles. LMAO guess thats what makes life grand eh?

have a great evening! it will be time for morning greetings in a few hours. :)

Good morning. After taking the grandson to get his teeth cleaned at the dentist I have a date with the chiropractor for routine maintenance. Have a good one.
