A cam may or may not have made a difference. However it would if she files a subsequent injury suit. Probably won’t happen, but having proof in a he said/she said situation, even if you’re accused of running a red light when it was still yellow, can make a world of difference later.

Very accurate points, although she was coherent and standing/walking on her own when speaking to the State Trooper. I would assume I could call on the Trooper as a witness to testify that she was not injury immediately after the accident and did not request EMS.

Should probably clarify that this is the WARN Semi-Hidden winch Bumper. Great product, highly recommend.

Just glad we all got to go home. Lucky we had more attentive drivers around us when it happened, could always be worse.

Some injuries are hidden and don't show up until later that day when the adrenaline wears off and the swelling begins. I was rear ended and a red light and denied medical treatment because I "felt fine". I ended up going to the emergency room later that night because I could barely hold my head up if I wasn't straight up and down. I had pretty bad whiplash because of the accident.

I'm not the OP, but have that Rocky Mounts MonoRail rack. I think it is as strong and functional as a Thule or Yakima (maybe stronger), and quite a bit cheaper. It doesn't look as nice as the Kuat racks but is probably most similar to the Kuat Sherpa. The rack has a threaded hitch pin so it snugs up tight and doesn't wiggle or rattle, but doesn't have the extra expander/hand tightener like the Rocky Mounts SplitRail or the nicer Kuat racks. For me it was the best value for a premium rack.
Before you drop 500-900 on a rack, check it against your bike wheel sizes and tire widths. I use my MonoRail for both my MTB (2.6"/2.4" tires, 29er) and road bike (700 x 28). The MTB fits perfect and with the road bike I just have to be sure I really have the front wheel holder in tight or the bike will roll a little in the cups. You probably know this but also put the wheel holder as close to the frame as possible and not across the middle of the wheel; keeps it from loosening up.
It was a big upgrade from my old Thule hanging rack. And it's sort of a local company to us (Grand Junction, CO).

I like where you are going with this. I might try that if my cover doesn't last

You know what charter boat captains say. When asked if they would rather go fishing or make love to their wives the reply is always "It depends on the weather!".

It's alright, I have a 1UP I prefer to use but the rockymount still gets the job done. Depending on the bike it can scratch up the fork. I do find it nicer than the Yakima.

Exhaust reroute, cargo mat, WeatherTech side window deflectors, glove box and center console organizer. RCI steel skid plates (engine, transmission, transfer-case, catalytic guards, fuel tank and differential), Total Chaos Bed Stiffeners, RCI rocksliders, Power Tray and Switch Pro, Taco Vinyl Pro Grill, Diode Dynamics SS3 amber fog lights. Front Runner load bars, Powerbrake D-Line Disc & Pad kit, Fox 2 inch lift kit with 2.5 coil-over, Taruca Rogue XC awning, Four Wheel Campers Project M.
Added some steel RCI skid plates - engine, transmission, transfer-case, catalytic converter guards, fuel tank and differential. Was working on getting my Wet Okole seat covers on. Got the back seat covers on, then realized I needed to get some kind of instructions for the front seats + its over 90 degrees out right now. I'll work on the front seats later... Back seat was the important one anyway... dog rides back there.

Do not advise doing this in your driveway in 105 degree heat. Alignment tomorrow.
