It's also the 3rd deepest lake in the United States, with a maximum depth of 1,486 ft. Creepy deep...

^^this. ATC fabricates great bumpers and for a bit less $ than the competitors. Customer service with Morgan is excellent with quick email responses. He agreed to customize my HC bumper in order to fit my 3" glass bedsides (other companies weren't too eager to take the time to bother). Quick turn around time too. Really digging the look and hated the OEM bumper which offers no protection if you off road. FYI I still have to install the tire carrier

Yeah mine would be flat. I wish I saw the armored non HC bumper when I bought mine. I do love my RCI but the armored sides would sold me.

Yesterday I ordered an ARC1 regular bumper with hidden hitch. Haven’t spent any money on the truck in a long time, looking forward to bolting it up!

Shout out to Mike @ARCOneMike. I came into town on a tight schedule and he had a rear bumper built from scratch for me in one day. Amazing to see the speed he moves at and the quality of the output. Only a master craftsman can accomplish that. If you’re from the lower mainland don’t hesitate to work with him.

Wow that is beautiful! I have along bed too and the HC looks good on a long box! Billy does a very nice job. Hopefully the $2000 stimulus check goes through and I'll put a downpayment with Bruteforce!

Anyone in this thread have a good idea for securing the metal bedside from flapping around after the lower portion has been cut off to accommodate a new HC bumper?

Awesome pic I have the long bed 4 door also! This picture seals the deal for me… Do you find yourself keeping up with the short bed four-door Tacoma’s?

Hey guys, know this is an old thread, but I’m debating about getting a HC bumper…my concerns are these:

I tow a 17’ fiberglass fishing boat to fish the Pacific Ocean regularly, package weight with trailer is probably 2-3500 lbs…is there a bumper that is rated to handle towing regularly?

I don’t want to regear and currently run 265/75s on 5100s with OME 885s and an AAL to the stock leaf package…also have sliders and steel skids…would the HC bumper add too much weight and cause the performance of the truck to drop significantly?

anyone who has experience or knowledge on my scenario please post what you think…thanks!

You wont notice a difference in 50 lbs. I have the cbi HC bumper and tow a lot with it. My trailer and crawler weigh about 5k. The bumper is plenty strong for anything the truck can tow.

I’m in a similar situation minus the towing concerns.

Did you consider other brands or anything that turned you off to the others?

I was looking at cbi, at the helm, brute force, c4 and can’t recall if bamf makes one.

Most start building their bumper off decent sized hitch material. They won’t give weight ratings. I just liked the look of the cbi. No reason besides looks made me choose it.

Thanks for the response! Is 50lbs the difference between the HC bumper and the stock?

Are you running a swing out? I was looking at the Brute Force bumper with a swing out and that has a weight of ~240lbs

It sounds like towing is not an issue, which is good to hear
