Those '24 YZ's colors bring back memories of Damon Bradshaw's mullet....are people gonna start dressing like Sonny Crockett from Miami Vice soon?

 

I like the new 50th anniversary bikes wayyy better than the yellow ones Yamaha released back in 2016 or so.

 

They'll be yellow in '26 again.

I am a fan of the yellow and black Yamaha. Personally can't stand white MX bikes.

Same. 06. I tried to get one but had to settle for blue. They gave me the little 50th anniversary number plate sticker above the headlight lol. I still have the bike, it's awesome. Just wish I could've gotten the yellow or white/red (non-usa model.)

 

Barely, wish they did highlights. I just scroll and watch a few minutes. Hard to watch moto during the week

 

I remember the purple and pink years well. Seemed like all the riding gear had that color scheme. My favorite bikes were when factory Yamaha went with the dark blue plastic. I used to have one of these WR 200’s with the ugly cyan and pink color scheme. I wish I still had that bike.

 

Anyone remember the old TUF Racing (Dekalb IL store/shop)? They mixed up their Kawis and Suzukis.with different colors back around 87-92ish?

 

Nice. They added the blue plastics but had to keep the stylish purple and hot pink accents that everyone wanted.

 

They had several variations through the seasons and even teammates bikes were often different

 

See I think that color scheme is amazing. Lol.

The dark blue was ok. Started with 95 Factory bikes. 96s had dark blue shrouds and seat but still white fenders. 97 got the dark blue front end but rear was still white. I had a 97 yz125. Pretty sick bike. But to me once the 98s came out, the reflex blue (that they still use) was much cooler than the navy.

 

Just watched Washougal again. Deegan moto 2 was pretty darn cool.

Also saw Evan Ferry dislocated his jaw at Loretta's today

 

Your boy, Ferry is looking more and more like a kid that isn't going to pan out. Hate to say it but just the vibes I'm getting, as time goes on.

Moto trip in the mountains was a success. The guy camping next to us was solo and took us on a guided ride so he didn't have to ride by himself. About 50 mile loop over 4hrs. 75% of it moto only single track. Nice not having to use the GPS and plan our own route. Only ate shit once going over a rock section I didn't plan out well. Anyways, here's a pic of the view. Zero cell reception. No lights. It was great.
