Yup, it was pricey and I should’ve waited for the price drop. Great price on yours. The dropper does stick a little bit, but it’s good enough for now. The 2023 electric version of the Alpine Trail XR with a darker tan is also looking good. It might be a good pairing… but, I’ll hold off on getting that till a price drop pops up. This non-electric version is great for exercise on the beach paths and trail riding. I’m not skilled enough for jumping it, but I do want to try it out at the bike parks.

Yeah I definitely won’t be in the market for an e-bike for quite a while. It would be nice for sessioning stuff for climbs back up hills but at the price range they’re at I’m good w my pedal bike. I’m kind of new to jumping but working on it and getting better. It’s a lot of fun, even the little small jumps I like to hit. I’m old so going for the big shit is a little scary sometimes. Plus being hurt now takes a lot longer to heal from. Lol

I have tried it but juat on the exterior of the seat post but haven’t taken it out to lube it. I asked if anyone else on the Marin bike group on FB if anyone else had trouble with theirs and some did and some didn’t. But think more did than not. It’s an X fusion dropper, not sure what model.

They lost me at 4 banger for 50k. Seems almost like this should have been the 4-runner and something with a lil more beef for the LC name.

 

man i watched like 3-4 videos on the land cruiser last night. it looks nice, but think ill wait for a 4unner refresh since they will most likely put the same engine in it and it will be just a tad bit smaller.

i dont need a big vehicle. my old expedition was bigger than i needed.

the 4unner should be announced/released by the time im ready for a new car anyway (hopefully 2-3 years)

 

Huh. The fact that they are using the TNGA-F platform and that this is virtually the same as the new Tacoma TRD Trailhunter and Pro models underneath (although Tacoma doesn't get a center diff) makes me think that the new 4Runner will just be the same vehicle with different power and drivetrains and different styling. Like all of the 2WD and 4WD options available on the Tacoma, and maybe no center diff option (currently only available on the 4Runner Limited, which isn't really set up for offroad use). Size difference isn't much at all. That would bring the price down a little as well.

 

All about that monthly payment baby! Retail prices going through the roof because folks are financing shit for 96 months

 

I mean it's an improvement over the last gens that were pulling 90k.
