Hi guys still new to the forums. I tried searching but haven’t found a clear answer. Im getting ready to purchase a set of Method NV 305s in 16 inch. I have a 2022 trd off road 4x4 on stock suspension. Im going to run stock tires (265 70r 16) and wanted to know if I will have any rubbing issues with my front mud flaps with the 0 offset?
    Thank you for your time

I have a 2017 OR and I started my wheel/tire journey by running 265/75/16 Duratracs on Method 305s. No rubbing or contact issues with the mud flaps back when I had stock suspension. I’ve since made some changes, but you should be good with stock tires.

I’ll try to dig up some pictures for reference.

I had 265/70/16 on the same rims. Just put 265/75/16 and no rubbing so far. Put a set of Falken wildpeaks a couple days ago. Put a ceramic coating on them if you can. I used one from Adams, This one Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating™ Advanced. And had it for a for about six months and they still shiny black.

Sounds good. Im glad you had no issues with rubbing on the mudflaps. I really want to keep them on to help reduce road rash from the tires. I will have to check into the ceramic coat. It will make cleaning them a breeze.

I'm running 265/75r16s on my 21 TRD OR. Thinking of getting a set of Method 305 NV Double Blacks in 16x8" size. I also have a leveling kit on my Taco. Any concerns re: fitment I should have? I dont wanna go any bigger tire size, have to make any addt'l mods or have other suspension issues/failures. Your thoughts & suggestions are appreciated.

I haven't had any issues with my Method's. Fitments is great. No concerns at all. I want to raise it 2in in fron and 1 in the back. And I will be happy.

Method is a solid choice used by many forum members. They have a great selection of styles and finishes.

What is the largest tire we can fit on this guy? Width and height? Not looking for a skinny specifically.

Im running 265/75/16 and no rub, unless you take a path hole hard. I was running 265/70/16 before no rub at all.

265/75R-16 is the ticket; you can anticipate rubbing with anything larger. 255/85R-16 will likely result in rubbing as well.

Even with the lift, 265/75R-16 due to the lower offset on the wheels.

Think of your wheel wells as bowl shaped. It you push the wheels out, you are locating the wheel in a shallower part of your wheel well. This restricts how tall of a tire you can run.
