Toyota should make modern steel wheels that the old steel wheel hub caps would fit.

Too much rotational weight, nicks mpgs. Had steelies on my 3G for 6 months and took them off for that reason. Do like the fake steelies made from aluminum for the “look”

I like! Now needs a lift on pizza cutters.

Was all hot for a Bronco, but think the new LC will do, and do much much better. Not like I would ever take the top off the Bronco anyways. :)

How can Toyota get the Land Cruiser so right, yet miss it on the 4G Taco? Though seeing it in Terra it is starting to grow on me.

I predict a lot of people will jump from their 3rd gens to a new LC especially given the price point and likely price jump for the 4th gen.

New plan is keep the 3G, and get the wife the LC. She is not a car person, and even she was like dayum!

Maybe, though a lot of stuff that comes out of Japan is awful. Like the previous gen Prado.

Those hub caps should fit on the new steel wheels. Toyota should make that happen.

Tried to get my wife into a T4R or Bronco and she had to have the new RX hybrid. Wish she would be like your wife. I’m eyeing the new GX for her next one.

I’m eyeing the GX 550 to replace our 2016 4Runner. It would be nice if Toyota would announce the next gen 4Runner and prices on all of these vehicles.

Mine loves the Bronco and the T4R, she had an Isuzu Trooper for about 12 years, loved the cargo space and riding up high. She had a RAV4 loner for a week and a half, liked it but didn’t love how low to the ground it was.

Just tossed a fresh engine in my 1G Taco, she is driving that for now, but wants to get something new in 3 years. So by then the initial hype “should” die down a little. Though given the Tacoma and 4Runner popularity, it may not. I see Toyota selling every last one of the new Land Cruiser for a very long time.

Still waiting to see if they keep the 4Runner around too. Guessing they do, so you can get a non-hybrid version of that drive train. That would be ok too.

Same type of stance as my 80 series. Same wheelbase too. This is going to sell well.
