    Bump for this question. This is almost my exact question. I bought the factory extended bumper-to-bumper for 7 years or 100k, so I def don't want to screw that up. Thanks in advance

    when you say OME route that is the springs like the 885 or something like that or is that different cause really all i want to do is have a nice 3 inch lift with a good ride that is durable and will last if i do go in some mud or on a trail but nothing serious.

    885s are recommended for the double cab, but 884s will be just fine for regular and access cabs.

    And if you get the OME springs, go with the OME shocks. Perfect combination!

    is OME a brand? sorry for all the stupid questions haha but you would rather go with OME shocks then the 5100's?

    No worries... OME is a brand - stands for Old Man Emu.

    Personally, I haven't used the OME setup (shocks and springs) but many have and love them. I am running the 5100s with the adjustable coilovers from ToyTec (Eibach springs I think). I believe the OME stuff is a little more expensive than what I'm running, but not too much.

    My point was, the OME shocks are valved specifically for the OME springs, so they will ride better than OME springs and 5100s. That said, many people here run the OME/5100s too, just saying you get a better ride if the shocks and springs match.

    oh no trust me if i could i would put all of my money into my truck and every bit of spare money i get it goes towards mods, even though im workin on saving up for the lift i just wish i had someone here to help me but ill have to get it done at a shop

    so on this the coil overs that are 799.99 they come with the 5100's right? i would just need the AAL for the rear but would also like the 5100 in the rear, or is that not a great setup

    Yes, they come with the 5100s and all you would need would be a rear AAL. And you could just message Sonny at DownSouth Motorsports about buying just the rears. You could probably get them for around a $100 or so...

    And although I bought all my parts separate (adjustable coilovers, struts, etc...) this is the same setup I'm running and I like it. Rides nice!
