I have an Uncle that put it in a nice perspective for me when he said he didn't have life insurance because he wanted those around him to be truly sad at his funeral...:bananadance:

LMAO Yeah she is super smart.... but she sucks with money. her whole family is that way.

she told me when we first started dating that she always pays her bills but cant save a nickel. well of course with love/lust in my eyes i thought: she'll grow out of that, i can teach her to be fiscally conservative (like me). uh well.... 20+ years later... nope it just cant be done. Ya have to WANT to save & put in the effort. She is absent of that desire. but she has this desire==== :spending:

we keep our finances totally separate. she pays "her" bills, i pay mine & part of hers.

my fault & after this many years? the only way its gonna change is with my death.

it could be worse! she aint ugly, shes a cooking machine & i have wonderful daughters, dogs & toys. shes never told me i cant have something if want it.

no matter how much i whine about it.... very lucky to be here & still be above ground.

Took the day off work yesterday because "The worst day fishing is still better than the best day working"
Dropped Luna off at 0700 for her 5k maintenance, loaded up the Beetle with 2 poles and two trays, then headed down to the local little fishing dock in the harbor. Wet lines by nine!

    See, I CAN catch a fish!IMG_4145.jpg

Around noon, after catch 5 smelt, I wandered up to the fish restaurant and ate an assortment of their (fishes) cousins with fries, then went home and took a nap.

Today, I changed internet service providers from Comcast Xfinity to GoNetSpeed fiber. Even with the new provider running at half the speed (500Meg vs 1.2Gig) it’s still faster as the speed a symmetrical 500 up and down. Cable was only 30Meg on a good day up and the best I had down was 600Meg even though it was supposed to be 1.2Gig. The new service is also half price of cable.

    Good evenin, everyone!

That looks great! Any chance of getting a close up of how you did the corner posts? I'm guessing that you did a 2 sided relief.

It’s good to know you’re still kicking around. I’ve been wondering when you would provide us with some more great pictures of the world we live in! Thanks for the great sunset.

    Evening Susan :hattip:
Lack of sleep this week caught up with me, slept the afternoon away. Finally feel rested. :) While it feels like a wasted day, it was necessary. So I reckon things are good. The grass will still be there to cut tomorrow. ;)
    Take care my friend.
