Haircuts today. Wifes' hairdresser does a good job. Glad to be done with a grinch backup barber that I used, while our regular was laid up with an injury. It's a pleasant change back, better cut, and the scenery is a 10+.

    Good Morning

The few videos I do, I upload to YouTube and then post link here. It's pretty painless and not all that time consuming.

Here's one of Yoshi playing with my buddy's weiner dog Kittle yesterday.

When I had hair I had mostly male barber's once in a while I'd get a female and the scenery is a lot better. I used to go to a barber school for cheep cuts. I started thinning out at 30, by 50 it wasn't an issue. Now I have just the side stuff and a clipper.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! On to mowing, and record setting day 28 of 100*+. Looking like 40 ish days will be the new record, and it pretty much sucks honestly. We always have very hot days, but in terms of consecutive, only 5 years in the last 125 made it to 20. All in the last decade.
Got a call from my paint guy, who has reappeared, so now to see about getting that hood painted. Naturally, a bunch of appointments now on the schedule.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/ezpassers. I've had one since, well gee -- a long time now. Kind of a no-brainer when I was commuting 2 hours to work, not used much since I retired. They charge a certain amount on my CC, and whittle it down via tolls as I drive through them. Backwards in a way but I don't mind paying a bit for the convenience. Plus as mentioned the tolls can be lower for auto-pay.

I have a Fujifilm "mid-level" camera from a few years ago. They don't even make them anymore. Phone cameras got so good that they essentially killed that market. Choice these days seems to be: phone, or high end SLR. Or GoPro I guess; I do a lot of videos with one, using a little contraption that lets me hold it in my hand. They're nice because you can also stick them to, say, your car fender and take goofy driving videos. Which I also do. :anonymous:

Agreed on the convenience and cost savings of E-ZPass; I've had units in our cars since 1997 and have saved many hundreds of dollars simply due to the discount applied versus paying cash.

I was looking at getting another iPad, left my last one on a plane 6 yrs ago ... mulled it over a while and concluded I might just do a repeat and lose it again. Decided to stick with one device and go top of the line. Possibly my smartest decision tech related in a while. BTW ... the difference between the standard "pro" and "pro max" is the pro chip is cell phone based whereas the pro max chip is computer based. No regrets so far. :)

I have E-ZPass specifically for my motorcycle. Works just like for the car but an additional 50% off the car rate. Resisted going that route for a long time because they didn't really tell you how much the discount would be which bothered me. Was it worth it if only 10%? Finally was able to get a straight answer from someone here in PA so I got it. I still don't use the turnpike a lot because it's really kind of boring but at least now I have the option available to me.

Good morning all! 15 more minutes and my weekend starts!

    Good Morning Porch Folks.
Overcast with rain coming in later today. Only positive is the temperatures are down to a comfortable temperature in the mid 70's.

    Have a good day all.

Hope all goes well the rest of the summer with them Mark. Can't beat fresh honey. We were up this past weekend and got some sweet corn at the local farm and it was sweet and good. Made two meals out of them.

I am in awe of what you and the rest of the crew are doing restoring the planes Kurt. RIP to the Fellow that "gone West".
Take care and continue with the pictures please .
