They're pretty easy lol. You could also have Crutchfield pre-wire it so it's all plug and play

Radios are easy with the adapters. Just match all the colors and plug and play

Well maybe I'll do that. I definitely can't on my own, I'm always scared of breaking trim pieces

I’m better with metal, plastic scares me, finesse is not my strong suit.

My fiancee just got heated leather seats, Android Auto, dual zone climate, and memory seats in her new Mazda.

Dual zone is critical and part of the reason we always took my truck on road trips. The memory seats are nice too if we're switching up the driving. She is loving Android Auto.

Whether we take it on our 5-1/2 hour drives to Buffalo remains to be seen. It has all the good road trip stuff that my truck does, but the F-150 is more comfortable. It's mostly the seats - the Mazda seats are better than the older models for sure, but the F-150 seats are still quite a bit better.

I agree. Anytime I need to take apart trim in a vehicle, I always go to YouTube University. Someone will have undoubtedly have made a disassembly video and show you where all the hidden clips and fasteners are. Even then, I've still broken tabs because the clip is stronger than the plastic it's holding in place.

when we did the remote start on the 4runner the video was like "install takes 10 minutes. remove this trim piece easily like so" and it took us 30 min just to get that piece off

Ah, if this isn't a Ford thread, it's a Japanese-Ford thread  Mazda and Ford still partnered? My old Mazda used to have FoMoCo filters

PS Saw this the other day

    https://www.reddit.com/r/CX50/comments/15ef84j/insurance_used_my_mazda_connect_data_against_me/

Looks like it's deleted now, but the insurance company pulled their tracking data from Mazda without the owners permission, and found out they were going 64 in a 55 ish or something like that. Slow enough that speed wasn't a factor in the collision, but over the speed limit, so they were able to play shenanigans and do a 75/25 split or something like that. Just to be aware of that :)

So the one I ordered finally showed up, chucks hooked right up nice and solid and everything seems pretty good so far! Tested it with my temporary setup and went down to 30 and back up to 35 within a couple minutes so I'm stoked. Also stoked my wiring of the arb to the auxbeam was correct and functioning just the way I wanted it too haha

Jeez, radio breaks and you can't wait to toss it..

I mean if you really want the Pro then nothing we say will change your mind. Though I think you'd be better off keeping yours since you have so little use on it and it's only going to go up in value for that reason plus generally being in demand.

Who likes the temps colder, you or hubs?
