I haven't perused this thread since b4 the beer meet-up. Man am I behind!!
Anyway, yeah, Mrs. Stoney is coming. I wish more wives/girlfriends would tag along. Kimm'r would too. I'd be nice for her to have another woman to talk to.
Having said that, let's kinda make this trip a "Bring the Wife/GF weekend". Tell 'em that a bunch of wives will be there and to at least come and meet 'em. It may not be what they expect. Hell, Kim comes along.
I still have room for a squatter if somebody needs a site. Bring your wife.

Wives/SO's are always welcome! I can't blame anyone for not wanting to hang out with truck nerds all weekend. But, we usually talk about all kinds of things, not just trucks all day.

Mine’s sitting this one out to do a family function, otherwise she was going to come with. She’s a good wheeling copilot, I’ve even woken up to her running 80+ hooked to the Tacoma on the trailer through the middle of the night going to wheeling destinations o_O

It has been a hot minute since logging into this site. I am a no-go for Tigerton on the weekend of 8/11 but the wife and I are looking forward to the Bayfield trip. I am just trying to find a room as the wife doesn't camp. So far it looks like Ironwood MI is the only place that has rooms.

    Alright, hear me out guys....

My job did some spring cleaning due to an expansion and they gave me two of these:

    https://tradeshowjoe.com/products/nimlok-mcwcn-elite-case?variant=559215673

I have to find some time to play around with them and see what shape they're in.

Definitely not as cool as the Hemingway field bar.

Anyways, seeing as there are two I'm more than willing to part with one for the cause

Check out Air B&B. There aren't a whole lot of options, but there are a few houseboats and a pretty cool "glamping dome" available along with a couple others. Not sure how rustic the wife is willing to get.

I did not think about Air B&B Thanks I will look. The wife is not up for too rustic. I did find a place in Ironwood but because I travel a lot for work I can cancel any time before Oct 5. Its like 40 min from Ashland so not bad of a morning drive to meet up.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
    Something to avoid. Too expensive!

I'm looking forward to seeing you guys again! Hopefully you guys find good accomodations!

Will you be bringing one of them to Tigerton? I'm kinda curious about them.

    Just a tad bit explicit.
Tim might get kicked out of the campground if he played that too loud and all night.

Tent mounted on the truck, opened up and airing out. So looking forward to next weekend!!

Kind of sad that it'll be my last outing as a WI TW member.

You can always make time for a vacation in WI in the summer. It’s been over 110 in Phoenix for over a month! Time to get outta dodge.

    Well yeah.....

I was going to ask if we should come up with a menu. I could bring items to contribute.
