I was... but because I have an after market rad... I was thinking you may need to at least remove the stock fan shroud to get them in if you have the stock rad.

Edit: I'll be installing these on my friend's truck who still has the stock rad. I guess I will find out how to do it and report back here

I currently have the Dobinson’s 112 heavy duty rear springs that give me quite a bit of lift even with the camper on the back. The current T/C Baja rear shocks are acting as limit straps with the extended flex and higher resting height, so I’m wondering if the fox ones will reduce downtravel even more.

I would think there would be no difference with the TRD pro shocks and the Bilsteins. Although the ride would be better imo.

Yup, using the double nut method. The top one is a PITA (ratcheting wrench to the rescue), but still way easier than pulling the radiator. My tensioner back on snuggly, but after finding the sweet spot it slid right in.

It gets confusing with the 3rd gen fronts producing a 1” lift when installed on a 2nd gen, but the 2nd gen Baja/pro suspension also provide that 1” or 1.5” lift up front, so they are probably the same.

As for the rear, I think all stock length rear shocks will end up limiting my down travel/flex with the HD Dobinson’s 112 leaf springs.

You'll probably need the rear shock relocation as well as the extended travel shocks for your setup. Seems to be a common setup for that application.

    I received my upgraded studs today. Thank you @Athlaos & @SUMOTNK .

This may be a stupid question, but my Supercharger install is fairly recent, two years ago and I have maybe 3000 miles on it. As I understand it, the studs typically fail after extended mileage and time. Should I swap them in immediately or could I put it off, say when I decide to put a new upgraded radiator and a pulley swap, in a few months?

I have close to 20x more miles since my blower install..... I don't plan to swap out the stud until the next big job up front. It's not something thst I would say needs to be replaced asap...

....the RIPP coil packs, however.....! Detach asap

SUMOTNK: Thanks for your input. I’ve been collecting parts for an “upgrade weekend”, I will add those to my pile. Can you elaborate on your Ripp coil pack comment? They made a big difference?

Also- I don’t mean to hijack this thread, but is there a write up somewhere on replacing 02 sensors on supercharged trucks?

    I totally understand.

Anyone on here that was looking to break up their “backup” set? Looking for 2 of y’all who are okay offloading 1 each hopefully!

Studs are fantastic Thanks you Athlaos for doing the leg work and Sumotnk for getting it to us in the lower 48!

They came in at just the right time since my alternator went bad,

I do want to warn you guys about something I experienced it might behoove us to apply some removable thread locker sealant to the block side of the stud. I installed it with no thread locker and they went in “super easy” and I butted both studs tight to the block and torqued down the tensioner pulley assembly to 29ft/lbs actually did it twice since I screwed up the routing of the sc serpentine. Drove around the hood all was good. Then got on the turnpike and 60 miles later it threw both belts, flatbed ride home 18 hrs later AAA sucks in FL. Found the lower stud had come all the way loose and upper one I could spin with my fingers. I was lucky and belts are still whole no visible damage to any pulleys but I will replace since who knows they were a bit twisted. So it may be a tolerance difference between the thread or some different harmonic happening between these studs and the block vs the original studs. Cheers!

Wow... perhaps some thread locker could be in order as a safety factor... I have been running mine for 3 months myself, so this is a bit surprising.

Thanks for the heads up. I know it's probably an obvious answer but I don't want to assume. On the 2nd go around did you snug up the stud again? Just curious as it wasn't clear. Only that you had torqued bolt twice.

I believe I did, but the slot deforms real easily on the new studs so hard to say how snug they were, this time around they got medium/blue thread locker and I double nutted the stud tight to the block
