You have STR issues? I have been dealing with them for years. I have 6 surrounding my house, now you know why I am heading into the woods.

That sucks, was a big problem in HI. Prices rise and locals can’t afford to buy, plus neighbourhoods change.
HI now have areas zoned so regular neighbourhoods can’t become STR. I’m sure the hotels had something to do with it also.

I’ve heard the wind up in Flag can be pretty bad, so bad it’s been known to make dog poop fly I hear…

I still have stock steel wheel with a good 285/75R15 spare MT on it. It’s an old tire but good spare at least.

Woohoo, going to come up from Satan’s armpit and put the TT in the woods somewhere and explore Flag for the first time :dancingbacon:

Anyone here got a long term rental coming available, either Flag or down the hill… somewhat flexible…

    Cheers

Help needed please... heading up with the TT on Sunday and was planning on heading to Schults pass/lockett meadow area FR552/FR420 off of HWY89 opposite the Sunset Crater area but it appears most of those roads are closed to vehicles due to Pipeline Fire.

    1. Presumably this is still in force and not outdated?
    2. Is there enough open FR for us to still use this area? (upper portion od screen shot)
    3. Looking for recommendations for a place we can drag our 25ft TT in and around some trees. Doesn't need to be a top secret place but just somewhere in a forest with peace and quiet.

    Thanks in advance.

That's very kind of you to offer good sir! :hattip:

I've just been looking at FR418 from satellite, looks to be a good number of pull outs, hopefully by Sunday afternoon it'll be even quieter :fingerscrossed:

How far deep are you? We'll be up on Sunday...IMG_8261.jpg
