Did any of those previous vehicles have a hybrid system designed to add more power to the gas engine and also turbocharged?

No and it doesn’t matter. Remember feeling or thoughts are not unit of measurements. Only numbers.

correction: many of those were offered warranty with forced inductions engines(SC/TC) installed by the dealers themselves. That’s how TRD was born.

Btw, the parallel type 2 configuration does not add power to the engine but provide torque to the transmission. Same drivetrain as the one you can find on the tundra/sequoia imax

Returning to the main topic I would take one of those 1958, with some beadgrips and skinny 35”s

Would love to see what the Meteor Shower looks like, assuming some sort of red or orange?

White blueish pearly could be awesome! There’s a pearly color on the LC200/LC300 that looks awesome.

Hmmmm, that could work too! Guess the color is determined by what part the of the atmosphere it is burning through. :D My mind goes to a massive fireball.

Thank you. Not what I was expecting, but like it. Didn’t Toyota have a Moon Dust color a few years ago for the 1st Gen Tacoma? iirc…

    edit: it was Lunar Mist.

Obviously that sway bar(since the 1958 has no FR sway bar disconnect) will be stored at the bottom of the ocean.

Nope only Toyota products produced in Japan get that color.

Toyota should just build a 2dr pick up version of the 1958 in Japan and export to the US. I wouldn't care if it was a hybrid.

Would think a 70 with a tray would be perfect for that. Plenty of room for the battery beneath the tray, without impeding cargo space. They would probably sell maybe 5 or 6 of them….

I don't need it to be a hybrid that's the sacrifice I'm willing to make just to get one built.

Could just get one of these.

I'm certainly interested in the 1958. My wife and I need a 3rd vehicle to share that can handle winter and grandkid hauling duties. It won't be a real off road vehicle, but will spend time in the mountains during winter. Depending on price and if I can get a true base model, I'm in.
