lol, I like the looks just as much as my 80. Even without the solid front axle this will wheel very good.

    Best 80s are the ones with a 62 body swap… :p

My favorite overdone 80...not a fan of high lift trucks but this one isn't bad

Judging by that plate, there are rednecks with paychecks elsewhere in the world. :)

Has anyone heard if the Highlander Crown or the Lexus that uses the 2.4t or hybrid have had any issues so far? Mind you we have two Crowns on our lot in town and they both been there for awhile.

Oh yeah, Suzuki makes some horribly awful looking vehicles.
    Jimny is the only exception.

Is there a reason? Emissions? Safety?

Several, Suzuki specialized in compact sub compact segment. They just couldn’t compete in the American market because buyers here prefer larger vehicles. Combine that with the recession, a terrible dealer network and lack of brand presence and they were hemorrhaging money in NA.

Same as Isuzu then? We had a Trooper for 12 years, great vehicle other than the GM transmission that was in it. It finally gave up the ghost earlier this year, we donated to Vehicles for Veterans.

Yep same as Isuzu. The trooper is an awesome vehicle. Mitsubishi seems to be the last smaller Japanese automaker hanging on. I think they only sell one mediocre crossover.

Toyota own a 5% stake in Isuzu. As well as Subaru and a few others I believe

They are pulling out of the medium duty truck market here too, right?

Trooper was fantastic, nice squarish upright cargo area, back seats folded truly flat. Only two of us, was more for hauling stuff than people. The new Land Cruiser would make a great replacement.

Mitsubishi Monteros were decent too, just can’t compete in the US market.

Problem solved. Import one from where they do compete lol. This JDM was at the dealer last fall when I was there. Peep the plate lol.
