I've been checking the transmission fluid and coolant and there's no mixing

Recently replaced my radiator and other cooling system components and here's my radiator experience: Bought a new one, unboxed it and found it was damaged, looked like someone jammed it into the corner of a table, so I took it back, they (an Auto parts store) ordered a new one it came in the next day and this time the counter person opened it in the store. found it was damaged, so they ordered another one, this time I told them to open it and inspect it, then call me and I'll come down there. Unbelievably it came in and they found it was damaged, so the ordered another one, this time it was undamaged, and everything's been fine Seems like quality control is not what it used to be.

Wtf that's crazy but I don't doubt it. Seems like QC is worse everywhere not just in auto parts stores.

Are any of the mounting locations bent causing the radiator to be twisted once bolted down.

It was like that yes. The hooks on the mounting brackets that hold the radiator in place were bent and wouldn't line up so I had to use the old mounting brackets. They weren't an exact fit on the new radiator but they're were almost an exact fit so I thought it was good enough

Just to add. I could have bought it online from a multitude of vendors for a lot cheaper than the local Auto Parts store, but they had it in stock, and I wanted to do it in one day and not wait. But due to the damaged radiators issue, my one-day project turned into a weeklong headache. Looking back, I could only imagine the problems in dealing with a damaged radiator(s) if I had it bought online.

Oddly enough, I’ve always had the he best luck with eBay $50 radiators than $200 autozone radiators

The quality of aftermarket parts has dropped severely in the last few years. It isnt uncommon for replacement parts to have to be changed multiple times. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and get a factory part from the dealer.

Was the replacement radiator cap an OEM part, or aftermarket?

A lot of the heavy parts are now made in mexico, just the sign of the times...

Its eating Ford's ass on their newer models......problem after problem.....ie...all those farked up heads....

Never thought china grade would be an upgrade....crazy.....

......just wait....the tires are on their way.....better check your sidewalls for mfg origin....

That’s the truth. Post COVID mass production will never be the same.

Because of Unions and the cost of living here and Japan, .... future parts will not come from these......duh

....the ones you think they do, will be just repackaged/rebadged from suppliers.....

Might want to consider all this....might be worth the little bit extra(alot) to buy local...
especially anything that is 5lug or 6lug dependent......a lot of confusion there.....
