Looking at swapping out my front 3” lift consisting of factory struts and a spacer. I see there isn’t may 3” lift options. I was thinking of going with the 6112’s but don’t want to reduce the front height by 1” as I’m going to continue to run the rear 2” block for a bit and it sits where I want it to right now. What are my options without getting into the expensive coilover options? I’d like the 6112’s but if they only provide 2” then it seems pointless to swap to them if I’ll have to run a spacer to get 3” or close to. 2.5” would be fine as that’s only 1/2 more rake. The 6112’s still seem like the way to go but I’m also concerned with their corrosion protection in the northeast. I haven’t heard good things about how they fair.

We could set you up with a 6112 with a small top plate spacer to get that additional height. You'll also need to go down the path of new UCAs to get back into proper alignment. Just something to consider. If you want to chat through options or have more questions please feel free to give us a call here at Hotshot Offroad 406-936-0206

As for the corrosion concern - The new Bilstein 6112s that came out in Oct of 2022 all have a clear coat finish on them which should make them much less susceptible to the salted road corrosion. They haven't been long-term battle tested yet though, unfortunately.
