They provide meals on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. I

'm finding the Toyota Clubs provide the best "bang for the buck" events. Mainly because the organizers put on the event for the love of the product instead of trying to be a big money grab.

Cruiser Brothers usually come in from CA along with other distinguished Toyota people.

It is kinda crazy how a 3500 lb Tacoma can barely manage any better than a V8 SUV that weighs about a ton more though.

Is it really? You do know when they were designed right? The 5VZ is a late 80s early 90s design. The 2UZ is a late 90s design. Biiiiig difference. You want efficiency out of a small engine and an aerodynamic nightmare... Modernize and get to tuning, only costs like $3k and some easily obtained information to strap a haltech on. Then you can get 19-21mpg regularly. That pays off right?!

Also you're getting what's commonly referred to as the best mileage a 5VZ is capable of in a semi stock/stock vehicle and still complaining. Get a damn car if that's an important metric, I mean really. How much can you possibly enjoy this thing if it's causing you this much mental anguish daily.

That's fair, my biggest complaint is the puny 15 gallon fuel tank honestly.

It's 18gal on a Xtra cab. Believe me I've run it down and put in 17.8 before. Also your gas is cheap down there, not even worth complaining about.

That's funny, it's always been around 15 gallons when I fill up. That must be when the fuel light comes on to keep people from running out.

Fuel light doesn't come on when you're empty, it's when you're low and have as little as 3 gallons remaining.

Extra cab has an 18 gallon tank mentioned, and often you'll see fill ups are between 14 1/2 to 15 gallons. Never 18.

@Ozark_RegCab you know you dig your hole deeper each day with your 1,000 new daily doubts

But now you're complaining about things you've previously complained about; you've gone full circle in here with the same group getting the same answers

I prefer a wagon set up. It might be once a year I haul mulch or something, if that.

If you want a warranty and a wagon you have slim pickings.

That's good to know. I've been panicked with the fuel light flickering and the needle below empty, and I only ended up putting in 15 gallons. That's probably a good thing to avoid burning up the fuel pump anyway.

I'm gonna try and wrap that rotted fuel line to see if it changes anything. I have not crawled under that area when the trucks done driving for leaks

They call it "reserve" as you're not supposed to rely on that last bit of fuel for anything other than getting to a gas station

    Pretty standard across all manufacturers

Well if you can afford a six-figure wagon I'm not sure why you're complaining about an old ass pickup.
