Maintenance required light

Saw my maintainace light pop up so I had a look at my dip stick, the oil was fine
Why else could it be there?

 

Oil change due.

It’s time for one just cause it’s full, does not mean it is good

 

The light will flash for a few seconds at start up at 4500 miles after it was last reset. At 5000 miles it stays on until you reset it. Just a reminder to change your oil. If you have recently changed your oil and didn't reset it I'd reset the light and then reset it again at the next oil change

 

So what does that red bucket/jug looking symbol under the speedometer mean?

 

Means you have no oil pressure, if that light comes on while the engine is running shut the engine off ASAP.
